Lineman's belts are not approved by OSHA for tower work. A full body harness is 
required. Look for one that has D-rings at the hips to attach positioning 
lanyards and a D-ring between the shoulders for fall arrest. This is the bare 
minimum you want. A chest D-ring is needed if you will be using a climbing 
arrest cable and another set of D-rings beneath the ones at the hip are usefull 
for attaching tools. Extra, smaller D-rings are nice too for attaching tool 
lanyards. Things like shoulder pads, belt pads, and breathable back panels are 
luxuries you will appreciate if you do anything other than a brief climb once a 
year. Miller, Klein, Elk River, and DBI Sala are the primary players in this 
market.
