Purchase? You can build at least as good as you can buy, and you'll
learn something in the process. Go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy some
THHN #12. See the following pdfs of a presentation I've made to several
ham clubs on how to build simple and effective antennas for limited
space. It includes sources for parts you'll need, like end insulators,
center insulators, and spacers for fan dipoles. When you're buying this
stuff, buy enough to build more antennas -- it's fun once you get started.

The ARRL Antenna Book is also a great resource. It teaches you how
antennas work, which are best for any given application, and includes
many designs for antennas.
