I have a 2 meter Isopole that was up for nearly 18 years when lightening
took the top section off. Still worked as a 1/2 wave dipole. AA6DX sent me
his used Isopole several years ago. I now have that up. With a 80 watt
brick I made it 75 miles simplex.
The antenna does not come with the main support pole which you supply. Mine
is a TV mast made by channel master. Its all spelled out in the
instructions. I seem to recall there is a firm in Italy still making the
antennna.
