The pattern is remarkably weird. I tried a square loop at 50 feet above
"average" ground on 160m and 80m, fed in the middle of one side.

It's basically a rhombic with a bad pattern. Much of the current is
traveling wave current, but there's enough standing wave current and array
action between the two sides adjacent to the fed side to make big ripples in
the pattern.
The current in three of the four sides is almost purely traveling wave, like
in a rhombic or Beverage.
