Kevin,

Although my mailing address is Martinez, I'm not actually within the
Martinez city limits. I'm in unincorporated Contra Costa county, and hence
only county regulations apply to my situation. In addition to the general
county regulations, I was told by someone in the planning office that my
property lies inside the Alhambra Valley zone, which has its own
regulations. They showed me the book of parcel maps and the pages showing my
property had a stamp saying my parcels were within the Alhambra Valley zone.

At this point, I think the best thing to do is to consult a real estate
lawyer and have him determine what regulations apply (or not apply) to my
case. It may turn out that I don't have to jump through these hoops at all.

I don't have much concern about the general building regulations regarding
setbacks, proximity of property lines, etc. I have ten acres and plan to put
the tower base 350' from the nearest property line.

73, Jerry
