I am using a NN4ZZ tilt plate with my MonstIR. Also have the locking plate
for the tilt plate.
The only negative I have found is that when titling over the tower (80' Rohn
45) the antenna is not completely level. The far side comes down first,
about 15-20 degrees off of level so I use a stepladder on the end of the
40-M driver to help level it so I don't need two people to drop the tower.

I have a homebrew tilt plate on my MonstIR and it has never
worked right in terms of staying level. What is the problem
you are having?
