The Wilson TT-45 (over 40') and the MAB are very different in "beef". The
Wilson is about 160lbs (or less) and has a lighter tube section than the 242
Lb. MAB.

The good news is that the Wilson will do the jobs that you have listed. Rather
than go to all of the trouble of using the tilt base you may be able to use
just the wall bracket (to a house or other structure) and simple base plate --
super easy.

Email me if you want some pictures of my rebuild and installations of these
tube towers.

I am looking at purchasing a used Wilson tubular 40ft tower locally that
ncludes the free standing rasing fixture. This is similar if not identical
o the US Towers MAB. The MAB and MARB look identical except the latter has
mounting bracket for the rotor below the hinge point and a thrust bearing
n a plate where the hinge goes.
Anyone know of any negatives if I fashion a bracket for the rotor my self
nd build and adapter to pin to the mast section that gets hinged?
asically converting it to an MARB type base.
I don't plan to put much on this. Maybe support one or two wire antennas
nd two 6M5X yagis. Or at most a couple small satellite antennas with one
M5X above them.
Thanks
