I have a 50" universal 26" base/....withe cl33 and vhf no egging ....
but I have removed from SK'd friends 2 towers one a universal and
one a Heights...
and in both cases the 20 plus years had eaten away the bolts in the
center where you cannot see.....
so I pulled out my bolts and they ( 1977 install) were mostly gone in
the center,,,,
guess a good clamp on top side would be in order to prevent the top
from sliding down....
