Since I received a reply (without much substance) from my local PBS station,
I thought I would share it. The info on my reception isn't relevant to the
topic, but I included it because a TOWER is involved.

Hi KQED,

There was a Frontline scheduled for Feb 21st that abruptly was cancelled.
The title was "Cell Tower Deaths" and is advertised on the Frontline website
even today. Can you tell me why it hasn't aired, and if it will ever air or
is there a lawsuit pending (which I suspect is the reason it suddenly went
away)?

I have asked Frontline directly and so far they are uncharacteristically
quiet on the matter.

Incidentally, on a separate subject, your station engineers will be pleased
to learn that I receive channel 9 in Yorkville, California, a distance of
120 miles-or-so from Sutro Tower. I have a super-fringe receiving system,
and the signal does fade once in a while for a few minutes at a time, but I
am pleased and surprised at the reception. Channel 54 even though more
distant at 150 miles, is solid probably because I have a more direct
line-of-sight to it. Too bad ch-54 is only standard definition.

Thank you,
-Doug Ronald

Unfortunately, I don't hang on to that info once it's a couple weeks past
the change, but as I recall, they wanted to add some info to the program for
eventual release. They've still got a small page for it on their website at
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/cell-tower-deaths/

Great news on your reception! That's much farther than we'd expect to get.
I'll share your news with our engineers...
