The antenna that Mike is talking about, with the LP feed cell, i.e. the
TH-11, might have been considered in the "Thunderbird" family (certainly
lots of common hardware), but wasn't introduced until something more like
the 70's or 80's. I remember talking with one of the engineers who was in on
the design of it and it really sounded pretty good.
