Sorry to post a For Sale here. I have an MFJ-564 Chrome plated Iambic Paddle
Key, MFJ-407D Deluxe Electronic Keyer and AC/DC Power supply and manual and
cables for sale. All items are in excellent condition.
This setup is a bit special because I added a PC Computer Keying circuit so
that it is possible to also send CW from a keyboard or mouse click using
popular PC CW Software such as CWType. Just connect RTS or DTR from a COM Port
or USB to COM port adapter.
That way you can go from mouse or keyboard to Iambic paddle for manual keying
and back again.
Schematic of the simple mod is included.
I used this setup for 6 years, then finally bought a radio that has a built in
keyer.
But for vintage radios, this is a nice arrangement to have.
My price is $85 which is 1/2 the price of all the items combined purchased new.
