I have a Force 12 C-3 beam with a 5kw DX Engineering balun and rg 213 cable.
everything works well on 20, swr is low and tube amp loads properly.
On 15 swr is a little higher about 1.6-1 but the amp tunes funny. The
wattmeter pegs past 2kw and 4 572B tubes cannot put out that much power and
also the plate current only reads about 400ma at 2400 vdc so there is no way
the output is that high. 10 meters works ok also. I will not use the amp
on
15 until I find out what is going on.
