Skips suggestion is good one. After buying a couple of Force 12 antennas I
have decided to rivet all the element connections on all my antennas. I
never have to worry if the connections are going to slip.  It is real easy
to drill them out if necessary to change a setting or replace part of an
element.

After tightening the clamp, you can rivet the joint. I have done that even
on the pre MFJ Hygains.
