I have put towers on granite for microwave sites. The foundation term is a
"rock anchor", so you need the kind of concrete epoxy approved for rock
anchors. Probably need to specify a tensile strength as well, which you
should have noted on the certified foundation plans.

A friend out east who is not on this list is putting up a large
self-supporting motorized/tilt tower.
1) Some months ago I sent him a link showing how one of the Tower Talk
people had beefed up the tilt winch on his tower and done some slight mods
to the crank so that he could attach a heavy electric drill and use for the
muscle of tilting. I know this has been around before, but I can't find it,
and would appreciate if someone would send me the link. Also there was
another ham who was using a boat lift hoist, and this info (and any similar)
would also be appreciated.
2) Same ham with the new tower is on a mountaintop and only has a few feet
of topsoil, then bedrock, to which he has to bond the base, rebar, etc.,
then pour largely above-ground concrete base into a form. He has certified
design plans from the tower mfgr, so he is good in that arena, and has
exceeded the number & depth of core borings into the rock specified by the
mfgr. Question now is: what Epoxy or other material to use to set up the
bond of rebar and base bolts into the rock? The mfgr recommended some type
of material (I don't know what it is) but my ham buddy could not find it
locally (New England). Any suggestions on type of material, suppliers,
caveats?
