Rohn makes a “drive in base” which is nothing more than a pier pin plate with 
some steel welded on the bottom to drive into the ground. I had my local welder 
modify a flat base with the extra pieces on the bottom and it worked just fine. 
Especially with the really hard soil my stuff is sitting on...
