my advice is to replace the tips of the linear load with a flexible cable,
aluminum will break and will let you out.
the tips that you need to repair in advance are the ones that connect the
second half of the element ( end)
because the insulator (black) is not solid or tight union for the tube and the
little movement make the problem
I have a few photos of my repair that works fine using crimping connector for
cable #10, yellow and a piece of very flexible copper cable
with a lot of noalox and sealed to prevent water and later oxidation
