## This is a superb device. Ingenious really. This is just the ticket for
climbing up the side of a nested tower.
Notice that the top of the extension ladder is captivated by the steel assy and
retaining rod. It appears that you
just put the ladder vertical, extend it till the top protrudes through his assy
a bit, and you are done. Climbing the
typ extension ladder would be pretty quick. Mine has ribbed, flat surface
rungs every 12 inchs. Used in conjunction
with his 36 x 12 inch platform would make for a fast, safe, stable climbing
assy. Best part is, when you are done, his platform
can stay put, while you simply remove the extension ladder. I would still stuff
some steel under section #2 to keep things safe.
