My tower seems to attract every bird in the neighborhood, and the area at
the bottom of the tower is covered with bird crap. In fact, I can determine
the radius of rotation of my beam precisely -- all I have to do is measure
the circle of crap.
Is there an effective way to discourage birds from landing on my antennas?
I've heard the plastic owls sold in ham stores work for a few hours until
the birds get used to it and start to ignore it.
I considered a 12 gauge, but my wife vetoed that idea.
