I have a PST-2051 turning an M2 10-30LP8 (13.0 ft2). Great rotor and it turns the LPDA just fine. But after a year, the coupling between the motor and worm gear shaft loosened up and slipped off. Antenna rotation was still was somewhat stabilized by the worm gear but still rotated in strong wind. Got it fixed before any damage.

HI folks

I need your expertise

I am planning the rotor setup for OB4-40 (coil loaded 40m 4el yagi)

OB4-40 has wind load at 130 km/h = 1.200 N / 1,49 m² / 16,2 feet²/

There will be mast bearings help to minimize vertical load and bending moment
from an antenna to rotator.

I like to use The BIG BOY model PST2051 .

PST2051 is rated @ 23.4 sq. ft. - wind load area (sq. ft.). (2.5m2)
What is your experience with this rotor ???
