Paul,

I have been using the C-4XLD for ten years. It has held up well under normal
conditions. With a little help from my local Great Horned Owls, Bald Eagles,
and various Hawks, three element tips have broken. I installed the 40-meter
relay box and it gives me all of 40-meters. I enjoy having all bands (40
through 10 meters) on one boom. Good luck in your quest.

Semper Fi,

As you might imagine, not all my neighbors are happy about me putting up a
tower; most don't seem to care, but there's always one... What sold the city on
giving me a permit was the fact that I can retract when not in use. So if the
price I have to pay is more frequent cable maintenance and replacement, so be
it.

Looking at the Force 12 line of antennas.
