Anyone have any insight into the difference between the Yaesu G-1000 rotor vice the G-2800 rotor mechanically? Also practical use/loading of a G-2800 ie type of antennas it will reliably handle.......... Have had 3 ea G-1000's rotating boom lengths of 30ft or less and windloads of 10 sq ft or less for 8 yrs with no problem here in NW Alabama. Looking at installing a M2 80mtr rotary dipole (94ft long 10sqft) and turning with the G-2800. Tnx fer info Tim, AB4B _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
