Dave, Since the MS spell check now seems to be so important in how we organize our posts, please put in "obamacare" (with a lower case o) and see how bill Gates apparently has a sense of humor.

But to answer your question, yes ... it should be called a rotator (even though my spell check indicates otherwise).

That which turns is the rotor.  That which causes the rotor to rotate is
the rotator.

But ham jargon is what it is.
