Wes,

Not exactly what you're thinking of, but look at the various LED lighting products from this company that's been exhibiting at ham conventions out here on the coast for several years. http://www.wiredco.com/ Click on the LED lighting page.

Their stuff mostly runs on LV DC, with regulation built-in. They're connectorized at each end so that it's easy to wire them end to end, with the 12V passed through. You would have to build enclosures, but you could drive them with a suitable linear supply. I'm lighting my ham shack with four LED strips that are each about 18-in long, drawing about 1A from the 12V bus in the shack.

Stay away from their connectors and adapters, which are junk.

I need some advice on the brand of LED lights to purchase for the outside soffit lights at my house. They obviously need to be "RFI-quiet".

The lights I have been using are Incandescent R20-45W models.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
