160 half sloper (quarter wave) on 100' tower with TH-5. 7L C3i 6-meter yagi. 2 11L 440 C3i and 2 12L 144 C3i antennas on top. excellent match connected to center conductor of coax. Shield grounded to tower at feed point. BW @ 2:1 SWR < 50 KHz.. With ant resonant near 1.875 and tuner I could work the whole band. Antenna resonant neat the bottom of the band, I could only operate the bottom half of the band at 1.5KW. Higher and a 5 KW tuner would arc.

Follow up on feeding two slopers with one feedline. It did NOT work.
Impedence way off (probably because they were close to the same length). I
cut one off and the other one worked great. I didn't even need to adjust
the length! Getting about 100 kHz bandwidth with the top at about 130' on a
150' tower.

I have a 140' tower with several beams on it and I want to get back on
160m. I want to put up a 1/4 WL sloper, but my experience has been that it
will only barely cover 1/2 the band. I have measured out two slopers, one
133' long and the other 127' long. Can I feed both together with the same
feedline? (Adjusting the longer one first.) Or, should I just "bite the
bullet" and make two slopers to the antenna switch? I only have 4 ports on
the switch so I want to only use one for this if its not going to be a
compromise.

Thanks!
