Beverages don't have to be perfect to work, but they should at least be
"sort of" straight.
An easy way to support them when there's no convenient support is to cut
10 ft pieces of rebar into 5 ft lengths, shove them halfway into the
ground, and slide lengths of 3/4-in PVC conduit over them. Drill 1/4-in
holes in the top of the PVC and ty-wrap the Beverage wire to the PVC.
It's also possible to simply lay the Beverage over high (or even low)
brush.
