You're still ahead of the game. Here in Canada most provinces charge 11-15%.
We're lucky we're not living in Sweden, my country of origin, where they
charge 25% on almost all sales!!

In Tn the sales tax is 9.25% & local gov. can add theirs. In my
rural
town it's 9.75%. KY is 12 miles away from here & no tax on food. NADA.
Figure it out.
Nothing about quality or locally made goods but in some cases it's a
huge difference.
No ham stores here so unless you travel a long way it's by phone or
internet
