K47P makes agreat standoffs. I bought a set for my UST.
Regarding keeping coax off the ground: I use "split=loom"....spelling, like
used in automobile engines to protect wires. Kf7P's standoffs have more
area within so more coax and other wires can be put in. The black
split-loom hold 4 LMR400s=ultraflex, control wire for rotor, cat5-e for
camera control, "siamese" cable (18-2 forn 24VAC for camera power and 75 ohm
for analog camera feed. One more thing: protects the coax from UV, though I
understand that BURYFLEX is not UV sensitive (have not used it yet, only
LMR400 UF.

Only 53 now, but looking forward, I know the day will come when I can't
climb towers, et al. (Spouse wishes that was now) So, I am looking at the
Tashjian Towers:
LM-354HD 54 ft. manual crank up with gear box
LM-354HDSP 54 ft. motorized crank up with tower
And then use the TA-70L tilt-over base.
One of my main questions for those of you who have crank up topwer
experience....
How do you handle the feed line(s) when you bring it down? I'm assuming
feedline stand offs external to the tower... but how exactly do you
dress the lines coming down without damaging them?

I use Coax Arms by KF7P.? They have an arc'd shoulder that prevents sharp

Like that idea, but looks like they don't have the curved arms for the
Tahjian towers... just hoops.

Can do an entire set of curved arms similar to the ones you see there for
USTowers. Just don't get asked for them as frequently. They come
powdercoated or if you are patient I can get them galvanized with my next
batch. Email me direct for more info.

I use the regular loop type arms that came with my Hy-Gain tower, but I use
a couple of feet of half inch heater hose at each arm. Have to put it on
before connectors of course. Cinch up some nylon ties to keep it in place.
Some folks just let it pile up on the ground or in a barrel, but we have
winter here and the tower is north of the house and the base is shadowed in
the winter.
