Type numbers are like manufacturer part numbers, each mfr is different.

If you want to really delve into the materials, the best book is the one by E.C. Snelling called "soft magnetic materials" or something like that.

Some of the mfr catalogs are good (e.g. Fair-rite) and on line and have excellent explanatory and applications material, but Snelling is the ultimate reference (it started as an app book from some mfr in the UK, I believe).

For the more "industrial" mfrs (TDK, etc.) you need to find a rep who can get you a connection to the factory. Folks at work who make transformers are able to get the info, but I've never seen a catalog on line. Typically, the big guys make stuff for someone else to package and sell.

However, just having googled, I see that TDK now has most of their material data sheets on line: https://product.tdk.com/info/en/catalog/datasheets/ferrite_mn-zn_material_characteristics_en.pdf is an example

https://product.tdk.com/info/en/catalog/datasheets/ferrite_emc_material_characteristics_en.pdf

might be more interesting for HF applications
