I have used LMR-400 for 10 yrs with no problems. I attach the coax, rotator 
cable to the Feedline standoff arms on my TX-472 MDPL w/ heavy rubber (garden 
hose) wrapped around to ensure the coax is not strained, and let loops form 
between standoffs when the tower is retracted.
