Ground strap on wife? <grin>
Once, when operating top band with the Alpha amp at full power into a
dipole, my wife interrupted me to say, "you are turning the TV on and off,
and opening/closing the garage door." That was the end of operation until
the antenna was replaced.

My wife has a capacitve touch makeup mirror that she likes and uses every
morning.
Unfortunately no matter what I've done, such as installing multiple clamp-on
ferrites, swapping power strips and putting ferrites on my own coax down
leads, the mirror will light up on multiple bands when I'm calling DX and
therefore become an issue.
Has anyone successfully dealt with this? Replacing the mirror is not an
option.....
