Hi all,
I read Jim's treatise on limited-space antennas, which was excellent, and noted
his confession about frying the bead choke on his 80-m dipole when trying to
feed the coax and dipole as a T.
If one is trying to double-purpose a dipole -- as in using a 40-m dipole as an
80-m Tee -- what considerations are there for choking?

You cannot use "choking" for the dual purpose coax
fed dipole.
Instead, you must use a VOLTAGE type balun, which
is commonly available.
