I have 16 connectors in line for each antenna I use
In my system

Antenna to rf choke
Arrestor on the tower
Base of tower
Shack Entry Panel with arrestor
Coax switch
Amp
Band pass filter
Transceiver

Keep them dry use silver plated connectors
Water proof them, don’t rely on just tape !
Use good quality hardline and coax

Cheers!
