The inductance of J.W. Miller 5252 choke is 125 uH.

You want to ensure the that the choke's self-resonant-frequency isn’t within
80m. I am using J.W. Miller 5252 chokes at the vertical base feed. Purchased
from Mouser.

Prior to installing the Miller chokes on 80m and 160m verticals, high-voltage
static was destroying my K3's SWR bridge Schottky diodes. Zero problems after
the chokes were installed.

I’ve read/heard that an rf choke from the vertical to ground will help bleed
off any static and help reduce noise levels on the vertical. For an 80m
vertical, running 1200 watts, is the value/rating critical?
