Years ago (I mean >30) there was an article in one of the ham mags to add an
antenna tuner to the Heath AM-2 SWR meter. IIRC, it consisted of a tapped coil
and two variable caps. All parts to fit in the AM-2 case and still retained
the SWR function. I built one back then lent it to a friend and..........you
know how that goes, never to be seen again.
Anybody know the source of that article? I went through the QST archives with
no luck.
