Yup, 100 watt halogen spotlights,12v, often used on bumpers of jeeps and trucks
and so forth. Not all that expensive, completely waterproof, but you do need a
good 12v source (battery/trickle charger, perhaps).

## VE7WJ, now sk, used sealed high beam halogen lights
in the late 70s. 12 vdc. Lit the tower up real good. He also
had em mounted towards top of tower.... pointed back towards
the home.

## Led version in a floodlamp, turned vertical might do the trick.
Like those automotive LED off road light bar assys. The PIAA brand
halogen foglamps I use on my car have an extremely narrow band of
light. Turned vertical, they would illuminate pretty good. Led versions
are now available.
