Also the winches were not covered. Left in the open, I would do my yearly 
maintenance  and use  rifle bore  rage sprayed with the S00201 on the 3 ft. of 
open cable from the winch drum to the dropped  forged clevis…  and  no problem. 
 I bought mine from Granger

Wayne,

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Sprayon lube.  Thats a pretty good 
testimony for a cable lube after 30 years !

I looked it up and I may give it a try myself.  Nothing against Pre-Lube but 
sometimes its good to try alternate products.

I haven't put on my asbestos suit, I hope I don't get flamed now, hihi
