THHN is only rated for 600 volts, using dog bone at the ends is much safer. John KK9A cqtestk4xs wrote: I've used insulated wire for all my dipoles over the years. Since it is insulated, I simply tie the ends in a knotted loop and tie the rope through the loop. Over 40 years no issues.
