I would agree. Not all Tailtwisters are equal.
I recently went to install one of my spares and discovered a 2" mast would
not properly seat in the upper housing. A 1.9" mast fit fine. I had to grind
down the "ears" around the U-bolt openings to get the 2" mast to fit. Of
several Tailtwisters I had on hand, only this one had the problem.
So maybe there are similar variations in the exterior dimensions.
