I suggest that you stick with non-regulated units -- I have a very large
collection of linear wall warts, I've tested all of them for noise. A
handful of them are regulated, and they are noisy. When I needed a
supply for LED lighting in a bathroom, I bought several 12V and 24V
units from Jameco so that I could select the one that best fit into the
very limited ceiling space. I'm very happy with the build quality of
what I got.
