It shows D<<d, which is backward, of course...just a typo.
I'm gonna print the equations and pt them in my Antenna Book.

I modeled it as it would be on the tower. About 30 ft separation for 10M
yagis and moved the DE up and down the boom. I just looked at gain stacked.
Its true that one great advantage of the stack is not just added stacking
gain - its wider effective lobes. I did not look at that effect.

I'm in need of 60' to 80' of Triex T-20 tower sections in 20' or 10' sections.
If you know of any surplus sitting on the ground please let me know. Thank You!

Morning folks and Happy New Year to all. I am looking for equations, or an
on-line calculator, for open-wire transmission line using different size wire.
So far, I've struck out. Can anyone offer any help?
Thanks

Folks, I'm looking for info on the impedance of open-wire that uses
different size wire.
Unless I missed it, everyone is giving info on the usual case of same size wire.
Thanks

I've not seen an instance of using open wire line using two different wire
sizes (i.e., a different wire size of d1 and d2 for each conductor), if
that's what you mean. If it is then the answer is here:
https://www.rfcafe.com/references/electrical/transmission-lines.htm
Look under the heading of "Two Conductors in Parallel (Balanced) of Unequal
Diameters."
Z0= (60/??) cosh-1 (N)
N = ?[(4D2/d1d2) - (d1/d2) - (d2/d1)]
If that's still not what you need, I'm at a loss and it would require
mathematics to solve if it can't be found in a college-level transmission
line textbook.

Hi all,
FS 16 sections Rohn 25G $65 each. (current price DXE $182), most sections very

2 top sections Rohn 25AG2 $100 each (current price at DXE $285)
2 half sections to bury in cement as base $25 each
1 Rohn BA25G Tower plate with rotor plate (mounts on top of last section rather
than using 25AG2 top section), $150 (current price DXE $486)
1 Rohn TB3 Thrust bearing $75 (current price at DXE $230)
Note: this is the only 45G item I have FS - 1 Rohn rotor plate (mounts with
U-bolts to 45G sections) $30
Pickup at my QTH in southern NJ - Monroeville 08343 (30min east of HRO
Delaware, 15min East of NJ Turnpike Exit 2).
Make me an offer if any prices seem high,

Hi all,
FS US Tower HDX-538 38' HD (27 sq ft wind load rating) Crankup Tower with
T-base, TB2US 2"ID Thrust Bearing for 2" masts, and rotor mounting plate.
Extended height bypasses many towns' tower regs.
Package is currently a long backorder delay, and new about $6500 + freight at
HRO. New anchor bolts are included.
Currently raised off ground, resting on a pair of yard wagons (will be included
if you pickup, makes it easier to navigate after unloading from a trailer or
truck).
Clean tower, pickup & inspection at my southern NJ QTH, Monroeville NJ (30min
due east of HRO Delaware, and 15min east of NJ Turnpike Exit 2). Save a lot of
money for a really nice tower.
Asking $2600 or make offer, no shipping unless prepaid and arranged by buyer
and to be picked up.
I can recommend a local hauler willing to deliver by 21ft trailer within 125
miles of my QTH (08343), or pickup in your truck or trailer.
73 & HNY,
Darrell AB2E
