These were 24" RG400, N male on one end, PL259 on the other.  Used outdoors to jump from a ground plate with SO239 Feedthrus to Heliax Type N female runs to the tower.  Purpose to disconnect lines for lightning protection, They both failed open, not sure if center conductor or shield. One failure manifested as loss of received signal strength that was "cured" by a dit at at 100W.

I can's say for sure, since I thought it was protected from such things, but my KPA500 failed somewhere in the PIN switching path. When I opened it up to troubleshoot, the ceramic lid from one of the FETs was laying in the bottom of the chassis.  Remarkably it still made full power.  Now it's on the bench with the power transformer removed, ready to ship back to the mother ship.

How did they fail?  What failed?  What was the installation on? Indoors or outdoors? etc... etc...

A little detail always helps all of us!

After two failures (intermittent, that drove me nuts trying to locate) I'm retracting my recommendation of this supplier.

    hello

What coaxial is good to use to jumpers between antenna switch, High Power
BPF and gas arrestors?

Will it be good to use right angle connectors to have a nice layout, you
think they are reliable?

they will be between 1 and 4 feets long

thanks!!
