Hi Ed,
We've installed a number of these ring rotors in the past few years, but all on
Rohn 55 tower.
The supplied U-bolts were too tight for Rohn 55 legs and we substituted
slightly larger ones. No way would these U-bolts go around the wide Trylon leg.
But the leg brackets have a flat face, and if you loosely assemble the rotor
around the tower, supporting with lanyards, level it carefully and mark the
tower for the brackets you could then drill the legs for 5/16" bolts to hold
the brackets to the tower. Or you could fabricate an adapter that would go
around the Trylon legs without drilling them.
BTW there are now two versions of these ring rotors. The standard one that's
been around for years is rated at 99 lbs vertical load, and a new HD version
that is rated at 154 lbs.
Also, JK Antennas is now a dealer and has both models listed on their website
(as well as other Prosistel rotors). Rotators - JK Antennas Store

Has anyone successfully installed one of these rotors on tower with triangular
legs instead of the usual round ones? Looking to mount on a Trylon Supertitan
with an 18 inch face.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Happy 2025 everyone
