Besides what you want -- decent image quality, wifi, waterproof, rugged
enough to keep working, the "security cameras" will typically:
  - have an IR illuminator
  - have machine-learning-based vehicle, person, and animal detection
  - have a uSD slot to record, perhaps triggered by the above
  - be able to email/etc. based on detections

99.9% of people who want outdoor cameras want these things, and I would
not expect any products to exist which are reliable enough over time and
don't have these features.

The other thing you should care about is that the camera can operate
locally, without the cloud.

Most cameras comply with a specification "ONVIF" that is how camera
monitoring software, Home Assistant, etc. talks to them.

Blending my experience with that of a bunch of other people, I'd look at
reolink and amcrest. I would pay particular attention to power
requirements. Many are 5V or 12V. Some have normal (5.5x2.1)
connectors, some micro USB, and some tiny/odd barrel. Plus there is
POE, but you don't want that I think.

There are also battery/solar models. For those you should read the
manual and be sure you can e.g. pull an image every 5 minutes,
separately from the camera sending video when there is a detection. I
have never tried to deal with battery/solar cameras.
