The TA33jr is an oldie and newer designs are most likely better performers,
but they do work. And can survive thick radial ice bending into an inverted
"U", a terrifying sight until the sun came out and magic happened.
Good starter antenna especially for small lots. Key things are that the
joints are good (IOW the previous owner used the conductive grease when
assembling) and that the traps are OK - water, bugs, too much power.
One data point FWIW: running barefoot, a roof mounted TA33jr in city centre
was good for 298 DXCC. Now on the ground at the cottage waiting for a round
tuit.

Since they are not ?state of the art?, but usable, I?d guess $200 for the
CL33 and $100-150 for the TA33Jr.
Had a CL33 many many years ago.
