Hello Gents,

I’m helping another ham with an antenna project and need experienced help,
Thanks!

We need to mount a vhf/uhf aluminum HAM band j-pole and a commercial vhf/uhf,
(Comet GP-6NC), 153-157MHz, 460-470MHz, fiberglass vertical antenna, (10ft
tall, 3.5 lb weight), on a cross boom. I’m thinking of a chain link fence top
rail for the cross boom, possibly with mini-guys to prevent sagging.

What minimum distance should they be apart?

This cross boom assembly will be mounted on a guyed seamless tube 36ft tall.
More about that later.

Thanks!

Tom WA9WSJ
