Hi Folks, Is there any downside to using anchor bolts with a tensile strength that exceeds the tower foundation design requirements? All other specifications would be the same other than Grade. I am helping a friend reinstall a UST HDX-689. The foundation design specifies Grade A36 headed anchor bolts; however, the supplier can provide Grade A55 bolts for the same price with a faster delivery time. I assume this would not be an issue, but I wanted to verify before proceeding. Thanks, Bob K6ZZ _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
