Hi Rick....that explains why we did not work you!.
Joe, WA3PTV and I both had cockpit error till abt 1045 then worked Bill W3IY
on 2 and 432 with 5 watts then on 3.4, 5.7, and 10 Ghz with FB
signals......had a nice rag chew in NFM on 5.7 Ghz with Bill!! We called
many CQs on .260 and 432.1 without reply. We then tore down and went to lunch
circa1145.
I have a 10 Ghz home station and 2 m and 432 for liaison in
Mechanicsburg....could sked to try and work you as desired.
It was fun despite cold. What we learned.
1. Need power on 144.260....100 watt amp to be on order Mon AM, HI!
2. Omni horizontal to be built...out come the 50s Hdbks!
3. Wire sure is brittle when cold....key lead broke in my hand.
4. Need to start circa 0800.
