Has anyone measured any of the newer 2m transverters with respect to receiver performance using test methods similar to those used in QST product reviews? Specifically, the MDS, blocking dynamic range, two-tone dynamic blocking range and third-order input intercept data ? If so, I'd be interested in your results. Is it safe to say that the performance of such modern transverters is such that these receiver performance specifications are basically limited by the 28 MHz IF rig ..... is this true if you use a "high performance" IF rig such as a FT1000D with the transverter ? 73, Jon W0ZQ EN34 |
