Why not use a 144 (or 28) to 1296 transverter ??....then you have all mode
capability for about the same price as a used 1296 FM only rig.
MMT ??
Down East Micro ??

Subject: [VHFcontesting] WTB 1296 rig
Looking to get a 1.2g rig for VHF contesting. Will
have to limit myself to FM, as I know that 1296 all
modes are out of my price range right now. Would be
interested in the following rigs:
Icom IC120
Icom IC X2A
Icom IC X21A
Icom 12GAT
Icom T81
Kenwood TH59
Kenwood TR50
Yaesu FT911
AM I forgetting any FM rigs? Let me know if you have
one of these for sale, or anything else that would
work.
