The Milwaukee Radio Amateurs’ Club is preparing for the second annual FM
Simplex Contest (sprint) on Sunday, February 8, 2004. As an incentive for
other
clubs to organize their members and help them get a taste of contesting from
the home station, a perpetual plaque, honoring the winning Club entry is now
on display at Amateur Electronics here in Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee Radio Amateurs’ Club’s contest committee is now in high gear
fine tuning the rules from last year and we will keep all informed on
changes and updates. The final version of the rules will be available as
hard copy at the West Allis Radio Club’s Waukesha Wisconsin hamfest early in
January and of
course on line and by request. If any of this year's participants have any
suggestion on rule changes, please feel free to send them along.
